All Myanmarese refrained from Thingyan – the Yangon New Year Water Festival, to resist military dictatorship. The lively atmosphere of the locals made me feel happy too when I travelled to Myanmar in 2015. I hope the day comes soon when the military junta goes extinct and Myanmar citizens can do watering with delight.
