Manila, Philippines – Several Local Government Units and Schools in the Philippines have suspended classes, and government work on Thursday, October 27, 2022, due to Bagyong Paeng or Tropical Depression Paeng.

Meanwhile, classes at all levels in public and private schools were suspended in the Province of Abra on October 27, 2022, according to the Philippine News Agency.

The provincial government suspended the classes to further inspect buildings after a series of earthquakes in the province. Recently, the province experienced a 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which was also felt in the nearby provinces.
