Memories Aicha offers two types of accommodation: the domes and the luxury tents.
The tents are the definition of Arabian indulgence, decorated with heavy drapes, gorgeous furniture and ornate designs.
However, if you want a panoramic view, you have to go for one of the domes – they offer a similarly sumptuous interiors design with the added benefit of incredible panoramic views of the stars by night. These domes are also tinted, so guests can see out, but other can’t see inside!
Breakfast and dinner – included in the price – are served in the large restaurant tent which has been decorated in a similar aesthetic (think bespoke ornate furniture, lots of gold and colour), and you can enjoy the rest of your evening in the bar or outside area.
The camp offers hiking, horseback riding, various walking and driving tours, as well as classes about local culture, and archery.
The only down side to this particular desert camp is that it is rather large. There are 56 rooms across its selection of tents and domes, and should you be visiting in peak season when all are full, the number of guests may make an intimate experiences impossible, especially during meal times and after dinner.
