US-based Bilt Rewards is offering a limited-time opportunity to sign up for free World of Hyatt status. Members who take advantage of the offer will enjoy Explorist status for 90 days, and also have an easy pathway to extend it or upgrade to top-tier Globalist status through to 2025 by way of a challenge.
If you’re based in the United States, this is an excellent opportunity to speed towards Globalist status; however, from a Canadian perspective, it’s going to require some fancy maneuvers.
Bilt Rewards Offers Free Hyatt Status
From March 28 to April 1, 2023, you can sign up for a 90-day trial of World of Hyatt Explorist status as part of the Bilt Rewards Rent Day promotion for April 2023.
The trial period, which runs from April 17–July 16, 2023, will let you test out what it’s like to have Explorist status for free. You’ll also have the opportunity to extend Explorist status or even upgrade to top-tier Globalist status by completing a status challenge within that time period.
To extend Explorist status through to February 2025, you’ll need to stay 10 nights within the 90-day period.
To upgrade to Globalist status and extend it through to February 2025, you’ll need to stay 20 nights within the 90-day period.
If you can make it work, this represents an excellent opportunity to earn World of Hyatt’s highest status tier, which usually requires staying 60 nights within a year.
Importantly, World of Hyatt award nights count towards your total, and you’re eligible to participate in the promotion even if you already enjoy status with World of Hyatt.
Therefore, it’s also possible to use this promotion to re-qualify as an existing Hyatt Globalist member if you feel you may not reach the 60-night threshold this year.
There are a few steps involved to take part in this opportunity, which we’ll outline in detail below.
How to Enrol in the Bilt Rewards Promotion
First of all, you’ll need to be a member of both World of Hyatt and Bilt Rewards to participate.
It’s important to note that this is a US-based promotion, and the terms and conditions state that Bilt Rewards is for US-based members only. If you’re a US resident, then it’s no problem; otherwise, this likely poses a bit of a barrier.
If you go to make a Bilt account from outside the US, you’ll likely run into an error during the account…
