World of Hyatt Journey Across Canada Promotion: Earn 2,000 Points Per Stay

World of Hyatt has just released details of its upcoming “Journey Across Canada” promotion. With the busy summer travel months just around the corner, you could pad your World of Hyatt balance on stays throughout Canada.

Through the promotion, you’ll earn 2,000 World of Hyatt points per stay at participating Canadian hotels, on up to 10 stays with checkout dates between June 1 and September 6, 2023.

To take advantage of the deal, you must register by July 11, 2023.

World of Hyatt’s Journey Across Canada promotion for Summer 2023 offers a solid return on cash and award stays. You’ll earn 2,000 points per stay, beginning on your first stay, valid on bookings at participating Hyatt properties in Canada.

Importantly, award nights qualify for this promotion, too.

Prior to your first eligible stay, you’ll have to register for the offer, which just requires your World of Hyatt membership number.

You can earn a maximum of 20,000 World of Hyatt points with this promotion, as up to 10 stays are eligible.

Note that you’ll receive bonus points for eligible stays with checkout dates between June 1 and September 6, 2023, and the final date to register for the Journey Across Canada promotion is July 11, 2023.

Stays booked prior to the promotion are eligible, as long as you register in advance and the checkout dates fall within the eligible period.

Earn Points on Award Stays

World of Hyatt redemptions are subject to a category-based chart, with different prices for off-peak, standard, and peak dates.

With award redemptions for as few as 3,500 points per night in a standard room at a Category 1 property, and with 2,000 points per stay earned with this promotion, you can effectively get rooms for a net cost of 1,500 points per night. Under this promotion, there’s no minimum stay requirement, which means that stays of one night and 10 nights both count as a single stay.

However, it’s worth noting that most dates at Canadian Category 1 hotels throughout the promotion period have standard pricing, which means a net cost of 3,000 points per night.

It’s also important to note that if you were to book multiple single-night stays, it’ll be treated as a single booking for this promotion. So, you’d only earn 2,000 points for three one-night stays booked at the same property back-to-back.

There are four Category 1 properties in Canada:
