The von Trapp family was immortalized in the musical and film adaptation of “The Sound of Music,” featuring the story of Elisabeth’s grandfather, Georg von Trapp, and his second wife, Maria von Trapp. Today, Elisabeth is a talented singer, songwriter and performer who continues to share her family’s musical heritage with the world, releasing several albums of original music and well-known songs from “The Sound of Music.”
Elisabeth will be joining guests on two of our Blue Danube journeys this year – on our September 5 and September 23 departures – but you can meet her online during this special sneak-peek insideTauck event where she’ll answer questions about her life and story, share photos and give a short performance.
