Haarlem, a charming port city in North Holland, just west of Amsterdam, is one of my favorite cities in the Netherlands.
Despite being ripe for a day trip from Amsterdam (where I live), only half an hour away, I’ve spent a couple of weekends here to properly soak in the city without having to go to and fro between home and Haarlem.
