25 Things To Do in Daytona Beach
After visiting Daytona Beach on countless occasions, and living just a short drive away, I can honestly say I feel like a local of this beautiful town. It wasn’t easy, but I’ve narrowed down my favorite things to do in Daytona Beach to just 25. Here it goes:
1. Visit Daytona International Speedway
No visit to Daytona Beach is complete without a visit to the inspiring Daytona International Speedway. This historic raceway hosts the Daytona 500 every year which is the NASCAR Cup Series season-opening race.
You’re sure to feel an adrenaline rush viewing the high-speed race, but the Speedway offers even more in motorsports such as the Coke Zero Sugar 400 and the Rolex 24.
The Daytona International Speedway is also home to some amazing events such as the Rockville Music Festival – one of my favorites. Each year, the event hosts the most popular rock and metal bands from around the world. The lineup is always different and exciting; if you can, plan your visit around this.
There are so many places to visit in Daytona Beach that I know it’s often hard to choose what to do but the Speedway is a ‘must-see’ attraction. Even if you aren’t able to visit the Daytona Speedway when it’s hosting one of the many venues or events, you can still enjoy a guided tour where you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history and explore the track.
