Here’s a quick rundown of how to best spend your time in Florida. It doesn’t matter if you plan on visiting for two days to two weeks, this guide will help you plan every moment of your trip.
Weekend in Florida Itinerary: A weekend in Florida is enough time to explore one of the charming small towns the state has to offer. I recommend visiting Mount Dora and checking out Lake Dora, the Mount Dora History Museum, and dining out at the Goblin Market.
5-Day Itinerary: I think it’s best to spend 5 days in Florida in Key West. This 5-day itinerary includes museums like the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, a butterfly conservatory, and great places to gorge on delicious local seafood.
One Week in Florida Itinerary: One week in Florida is ideal for exploring Miami and all the vibrant city has to offer. The one-week Florida itinerary for Miami has you visiting museums such as the Miami Children’s Museum and dining at establishments that serve amazing Cuban cuisine.
10-Day Itinerary: If you plan on spending 10 days in Florida, I think it’s best to use your time to visit the central Florida theme parks. Spend eight days at Walt Disney World before driving to Universal Studios to continue the fun.
