The Borghese Gallery is another must-visit, featuring stunning sculptures by Bernini and paintings by Caravaggio. Don’t miss the Capitoline Museums, showcasing ancient Roman sculptures, and of course, the Colosseum – you can find an ample guide to Rome here, featuring famous attractions and off-the-beaten-path places to visit.

London offers something for every kind of art enthusiast. From the British Museum to the National Gallery, and from Tate Modern to the Victoria and Albert Museum there are so many wonderful options.

For Impressionist art lovers, the Musée d’Orsay is a dream come true – and the only regret I have is that you are not allowed to take pictures inside. Set in a former railway station, you’ll find Monet’s serene landscapes, Degas’ graceful ballerinas, and Van Gogh’s works – plus sculptures and more. I loved wandering its elegant halls, taking in works that changed the course of art history.
