SINGAPORE, — Starting August 8, 2025, guests can enjoy a redesigned Singapore Flyer experience that showcases Singapore’s history from ancient times to its modern achievements. To celebrate Singapore’s 60th year of independence, Time Capsule—a two-story multisensory attraction that first opened in 2020—has been transformed into a fully immersive pre-flight experience that combines advanced multimedia, interactive displays, and cinematic storytelling, all enhanced with a personalized web app. This introduction sets the stage for the Singapore Flyer ride, which offers stunning 360-degree views of the city skyline.
An Immersive Journey Through the Singapore Story
Experience Singapore’s remarkable story through an interactive journey at Time Capsule, guided by R65, a time-travelling robot. In collaboration with the creative studio Untitled Project, this immersive experience transports guests back to the 1200s, revealing Singapore’s mythical legends and its fascinating origins as a trading port. Vivid full-screen video animations, projection mapping, and advanced light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technology bring each historical moment to life.
Guests can stroll along an interactive Singapore River that weaves through history, and step into nostalgia at a chess-tile concrete table set before a stunning 300-degree projection wall that chronicles Singapore’s transformation.

On Level 2, guests can explore Singapore’s identity and global role through vibrant Peranakan-themed installations, LiDAR-enabled interactive games, and multimedia showcases. For a personalized experience, they can utilize the Time Capsule web app and complimentary WiFi to scan QR codes, engaging with life-sized characters ranging from traders to the indigenous Orang Laut.
