Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is partnering with four top local streaming services — Cignal Play, iWant, VivaOne, and Watchapp — to bring more Filipinos easy access to their favorite mobile entertainment, anytime and anywhere.

Smart subscribers can conveniently access and stream content through strategic partnerships using Direct Carrier Billing (DCB). This payment method allows subscriptions to be charged instantly to their prepaid load or postpaid bill, providing millions of Filipinos—many of whom may not have a bank account, credit card, or e-wallet—with access to premium entertainment.

By partnering with the leading streaming platforms in the country, Smart is enabling more Filipinos to enjoy the best in local entertainment, anytime and anywhere.

The collaboration will introduce an innovative data pack specifically designed for streaming. Additionally, Smart will explore opportunities with each partner to provide exclusive content available only to Smart customers.

Top Filipino streaming platforms

Cignal Play is Cignal TV’s video-on-demand service, offering over 80 live channels that cover sports, news, lifestyle, and entertainment, along with more than 1,000 hours of movies and series. Recently, Cignal Play introduced microdramas, which are short-form vertical dramas that subscribers can enjoy for just Php20 per day.

Viva One, a subscription-based video streaming service from Viva Communications, offers a diverse range of content, including local and international selections. Among its offerings are original series under the banner Viva One Originals, which encompass dramas, documentaries, and reality programming. Subscriptions to Viva One start at Php 99 per month.
