Team Out of Town Blog Hub (Outoftownblog.com) – mWell by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (PSE: MPI) launches the biggest nationwide online medical mission. National mWellness Day brings together volunteer doctors and health practitioners to provide free online consultation to Filipinos from all over the country via the mWell PH app on August 27-28.
Now in its second year, National mWellness Day is even bigger, bringing together more doctors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Filipinos nationwide can consult with a range of doctors on the mWell app, where they can receive free quality health consultations from general practitioners, specialists, and mental health experts.
This advocacy initiative is part of MPIC’s sustainability mission to bring healthcare closer to more Filipinos nationwide. Wherever you are in the country, the National mWellness Day online medical mission is just a few taps away on your mobile gadgets. Just download the mWell PH app and register, choose from the roster of hundreds of volunteer primary care and specialized doctors, and avail of the free consultation. Simple and accessible!
The annual event began in September 2021 and is built on compassion that cures. Using digital technology through the mWell PH app, access to healthcare is made more convenient, just like any on-ground face-to-face medical mission but from the comfort and security of your home. Health concerns can be addressed from any location giving anyone timely medical advice from experts.
As Filipinos rebuild their lives in the new normal this year, primary care, specialized doctors, and mental health experts will be a few taps away, ready to provide much-needed medical advice. Booking fees and doctor fees will be waived on August 27-28.
On top of the free consultation, the first one hundred patients will receive vitamin vouchers from MedExpress and Watsons, with free shipping. They will also be given free laboratory exams, including x-ray, complete blood counts, and emergency outpatient coverage valid for one year.
Ms. Chaye Cabal-Revilla, Chief Finance, Risk, and Sustainability Officer of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, said that this advocacy shows mWell’s compassion in action, “Healthcare is a basic right.
