Team Out of Town Blog Hub (Outoftownblog.com) – Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club and Pico Sands Hotel held its traditional Coastal Cleanup Drive in line with the International Coastal Cleanup Day. The said event is also a part of its sustainability advocacies as a responsible corporate citizen.
Several colleagues of Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club and Pico Sands Hotel and select guests participated in this meaningful event. Thirty-two colleagues came and gathered to show love and care for nature by picking up trash along the coasts of Pico and Santelmo Cove Beach.
Special support from Yanarra Watersports and Tour Services was also extended by lending two boats for transportation. All 24 sacks of garbage containing plastic wrappers, plastic containers, face masks, and other trash were collected through everyone’s help and efforts that day.
This year Pico de Loro Beach and Country Club and Pico Sands Hotel encourage everyone to “leave only footprints and memories behind, not trash.” The Coastal Cleanup drive is being done annually in pursuit of healthy coasts and the environment, of which Pico de Loro Cove will be a part of.
