Best Beaches in Malaysia

Looking for the best beaches in Malaysia? Well, look no further!  Malaysia is finally receiving the recognition it deserves as a world-class beach destination. And there’s definitely no shortage of them!

As Malaysia is comprised of a grand total of 878 islands and archipelagos, exceptional beaches are – not surprisingly – everywhere. While some beaches, like those on Langkawi and the Perhentian Islands, are well-known and heavily trafficked by the backpacker scene, others are still a well-kept secret that are just waiting to be found!

I’ve personally spent a lot of time traveling around Southeast-Asia, and some of these beaches in Malaysia are in my list of favorite places in the entire world!  So whether you’re planning on spending on two weeks in Malaysia, or are stopping along here on your way from Singapore to Bangkok, definitely make sure you check out a few of these idyllic slices of paradise.

Do yourself a favor, and make sure The Perhentian Islands are on your Malaysia itinerary!
