Skiers from around the world know where to go to get their fix: Jackson Hole. The area’s three ski resorts – Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King Mountain, and Grand Targhee – offer some of the best terrain in the country. Beyond the slopes, Jackson Hole’s nightlife is legendary, and many say this small town has the best après-ski scene in the country. After a long day on the mountain, visitors head out to enjoy cocktails, brews, and live music at some of the best bars in Jackson, Wyoming.
If you’re looking for a dance floor, killer happy hour deals, outdoor dining, or just a warm place to eat after skiing, you can find it here. Each of these watering holes draws a different type of crowd, ranging from rowdy to mellow, and it’s worth visiting each one if you have enough nights to do so.
There are two main areas where you’ll find these hangouts – in town, or in the village. It’s easy to travel between the two – just hop on a START bus and you can get around for just $3 a ride. While most spots are walkable from town or from the village, The Virginian, Eleanor’s, and the Stagecoach are outliers. You’ll likely need a car, taxi, or rideshare to get there.
