The time I spent in Bath with my husband was amazing. Although both originally from the UK, we hadn’t been back to our home country for a couple of years. It was nice to experience British life again whilst feeling every day like we were on a romantic European city vacation.

Number 1 on my list of top romantic things to do in Bath has to be a river cruise with a glass of Prosecco in hand. Bath sits on the beautiful Avon River, a delightful addition to the cityscape of the town center. You can walk along its banks, cross over several ornate bridges, or enjoy the sights from the water.

A 1-hour river cruise is a great way to see the city from a different view. The tranquil river route takes in a number of Baths’ most beautiful sights and the peaceful, natural scenery of the river in one sitting.
