The Perfect Itinerary For The City Of Light

The Perfect Itinerary For The City Of Light

Paris – The City of Light, where every cobblestone street whispers tales of history, romance, and appreciation for art. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or you’re returning for a weekend break, spending two days in Paris exploring its timeless charm is no bad idea.

Paris has so many iconic landmarks, world-renowned museums, charming neighborhoods, and incredible views to see, and though you only have 48 hours at your disposal, you can still enjoy an action-packed 2 day itinerary of Paris!

If you’re not sure how to spend 2 days in Paris, then you’re in the right place. We’ve crafted the perfect two-day Paris itinerary to guide you through the heart of Paris, ensuring you don’t miss the iconic landmarks while also discovering the quintessential elements that make Paris unique.

But first…

Are 2 Days Enough For Paris?

Two days is just enough to see Paris’s highlights, but it will be a busy two days. You will need to be prepared to do a lot of walking, and you will be hurried to get from place to place.

You may only have a couple of hours to spend at iconic places like The Louvre or the Eiffel Tower, whereas you may want to stay longer to admire the views and architecture more.

Ideally, 3 days would be preferable, as you can visit these sites more leisurely, but if you’re happy with a whistle-stop tour of Paris, then 2 days will suffice.

If you have longer at your disposal, check out our itinerary for 4 days in Paris here.

The following itinerary is how I would suggest spending 48 hours in Paris. Of course, you can take out attractions that don’t interest you or swap the days around – use it as a guide and adjust it as it suits you.

The first day explores the iconic landmarks and neighborhoods. This day is designed to give you an introduction to the Parisian way of life and to tick off the bucket list moments so you can feel like you’ve really “done Paris.”

The second day features some of the other biggest attractions in Paris such as The Louvre and Arc de Triomphe, and covers more of Paris’s history, stunning architecture, and artistic flare.

We also suggest finishing your 2 day Paris itinerary with a bang…more on that later!
