International outdoor action takes the spotlight in new season of airasia Thrills

The world’s best low-cost airline partners with GoPro and North Face in the second season of its award-winning adventure-reality online series

Team Out of Town Blog Hub (Outoftownblog.com) – AirAsia Philippines showcases extreme outdoor adventures anew in the second season of its award-winning adventure-reality online series airasia Thrills. The series goes bigger as it takes on outdoor action in the Philippines and around the Asean region, including Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and Lombok and Bali, Indonesia.

The show remains to be hosted by AirAsia’s in-house thrill-seekers, First Officer Rod de Lara and Senior Cabin Crew Bien Geronimo. They are also joined by other GoPro content creators in experiencing international escapades and local adventures in Cebu, Clark, Puerto Princesa, Bacolod, and Dumaguete.

The 14-episode season was launched on October 05 on AirAsia Philippines’ official Facebook page, piloting with a parasailing experience in Langkawi. New episodes are set to premiere weekly every Wednesday and until January 04, 2023, highlighting new extreme activities such as surfing, canyoneering, free diving and ultralight aircraft flying. AirAsia Philippines expects a wider reach and broader fanbase for the new airasia Thrills season as it streams the web series on airasia Play, the airline’s media and content platform on the airasia Super App.

airasia Thrills season two is following a highly successful first season, which bagged a silver Award for Brand Storytelling at the 16th Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards.
