Recipe for the Best Bug Repellent for Your RV Windshield

If you’re looking for a way to keep bugs from sticking to your RV windshield, try this homemade recipe that combines three products: Rain X Spray, Rain X Washer Fluid Additive, and Color Crush Special Detailer Spray.

Together, these products create a slick and shiny surface that repels water and bugs.

1. Wash your RV windshield with soap and water to remove dirt and grime. Let it dry completely.

2. Combine 1 oz of Rain X Spray, 5 oz of Rain X Washer Fluid Additive, and 1 oz of Color Crush Special Detailer Spray in a spray bottle.

3. Spread the bug repellant mixture onto your windshield with your hand. I wear one of my orange Glovewroks gloves to keep it off of my hands. These are the same gloves I use when hooking up our sewer hoses and they are awesome!

4. Wait one hour and buff the entire windshield with a microfiber cloth for a glossy finish and extra protection for your windshield.
