Porto is famed for its colorful houses and historic center, so much so that it is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is actually a relatively compact city that is centered around the Duoro River which has been the lifeblood of Porto since its inception. its colorful buildings and historic churches really intrigued us and we spent 3 days wandering the streets and discovering Porto like a local.
