Empress Dining Palace: Authentic Chinese Feasts For The Year of The Wooden Dragon
Celebrate Chinese New Year 2024 in Full Splendor at the Majestic Empress Dining Palace, Featuring Delectable Prosperity Dishes
The Chinese New Year celebrations are nearing, but whether you’re partaking or not, let’s admit that delicious Chinese food is always a good idea.
At Empress Dining Palace, an authentic Chinese spread awaits you along with promos and deals you shouldn’t miss. The fine dining establishment nestled in the heart of BGC (where Jade Crystal used to be) carefully curated an irresistible menu for the festivity, turning the restaurant a haven for bringing people together over delectable dishes.
During the media preview of the festive delights, Empress Dining Palace had us try these dishes:
The Empress Treasure Pot – A Php 10, 800++ one pot with Peking duck, abalone, sea cucumber, prawn, white chicken and pork knuckles, a masterpiece that symbolizes prosperity.
The “Yusheng” or the Empress Prosperity Toss Salad (Php 1,080 small | Php 2,080 large) – We had the chance to toss this salad made up of raw fish, mixed with vegetables, sauces and various condiments that symbolize abundance, vigor, and prosperity.
The Empress Radish Cake (Php 1,280) – Also a staple in a Chinese dimsum spread, the radish cake is a symbol of high fortune and embodies the hope for upward mobility and success.
The Empress Glutinous Rice Cake (Php 588) or Nian Gao in Mandarin – Getting this sweet treat also means success and achieving progress
Aside from the special set menus, you can also avail many of their promotions. They have customizable Hot Box Feasts so you can celebrate at home and the exquisite Dimsum Platters and Baskets, perfect for sharing the festive spirit.
One of the good news that I was excited about was their weekend deals. They have an enticing all-you-can-eat dim sum breakfast buffet, available every Saturday and Sunday from 7-10 AM. Priced at only Php 1,088+ for adults and Php 588+ for children (12 years old and below). Such a winning treat for the whole family!
