During our recent visit to Davao del Sur for the Domestic Tourism Invitational Program, hosted by the Tourism Promotions Board and Provincial Tourism Office of Davao del Sur, We visited local farms in the province. One of those was the pioneer in organic and sustainable farming — Lao Integrated Farms, Inc. in Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
The welcome we received was nothing short of a vibrant celebration as staff members, adorned in captivating traditional Babogo attire, personally greeted us with captivating cultural performances, which whisked us away into a world of vibrant colors and enchanting melodies. This lively spectacle was then followed by an enthralling video presentation that beautifully portrayed the farm’s rich history, bold mission, and inspiring vision.
The engaging farm tour began after an immersive audio and video presentation. As we ventured through the farm, we were captivated by the vibrant array of plant species thriving in perfect harmony. Along the way, we were introduced to innovative and sustainable farming practices that inspired us. Our journey also brought us face-to-face with a delightful assortment of farm animals, creating a truly memorable and enriching experience.
After the tour, a delightful surprise awaited: a scrumptious afternoon snack! Get ready to indulge in a mouthwatering banquet of organic treats from the farm’s bountiful produce.
