An expert tour director and a selfless advocate
Chris Morrison, a seasoned Tauck Director and the founder of Care Highway International (CHI), embodies the spirit of dedication that we proudly stand for at Tauck. When not leading tours – including the Magic of Morocco – Chris directs his energy toward impactful humanitarian efforts in the area. After the devastating quake, his initiative to provide immediate relief became a beacon of hope. CHI’s work, supported by contributions from Tauck Impact efforts, continues to focus on tangible improvements, like shelter construction. As Chris says, “It’s a beautiful thing to see a family who were living in a tent with four other families walk into their new home.”
Building more than shelters
The shelter project that began as a modest initiative to build nine structures has grown exponentially. Thanks to collaborations with local organizations, like The Higher Atlas Foundation, the project now aims to construct over 100 shelters, transforming the lives of 1,500 to 2,000 people – not just by providing roofs, but by rebuilding communities and restoring dignity.
