In the middle of each month, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer typically releases its Spontaneous Escapes promotion, which offers 30% off select Saver-level Singapore Airlines flights.
This month, we have yet to see the release of Spontaneous Escapes, and rather, Singapore Airlines has launched the Global Redemption Sale, which offers 25% off select flights in the airline’s network.
Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale
Singapore Airlines has launched the KrisFlyer Global Redemption Sale, which offers 25% off select award flights.
The 25% discount applies to economy Singapore Airlines Saver-level awards to anywhere in its network, as well as to Saver-level premium economy awards between Singapore and select destinations in the United States.
To be clear, the discount doesn’t apply to business class, First Class, or Suites Class awards, nor does it apply to Advantage-level awards.
Furthermore, the 25% discount only applies to flights operated by Singapore Airlines, and not on other partner airlines. You may not waitlist for a discounted award with this promotion.
Award flights must be booked from October 16–22, 2023, and are valid for flights from January 1–July 31, 2024, with some blackout dates on the Singapore–San Francisco route.
The 25% discount offered through the Global Redemption Sale applies to Saver-level premium economy awards to the following US destinations:
- San Francisco (SFO)
- New York (JFK)
- Newark (EWR)
No registration is required for this offer, and importantly, flights can’t be changed or cancelled once booked.
You’ll know that a flight has a 25% discount baked in, as it’ll appear under the Promo column in the search results.
Availability looks to be quite consistent on the routes, including in premium economy.
It’s unclear if this is a one-time promotion, or if Global Redemption Sales will take the place of Spontaneous Escapes moving forward.
If you’re looking to redeem points for business class flights, be sure to check for award availability through Aeroplan.
