Manila, Philippines – Several Local Government Units and Schools in the Philippines have suspended classes, and government work on Monday, September 26, 2022, due to the expected inclement weather caused by Super Typhoon Karding (International Name – Noru).

According to PAGASA, At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon “KARDING” (International Name NORU) was estimated based on all available data at 315 km East Southeast of Baler, Aurora, or 305 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.1°N, 124.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 190 km/h. It is moving West Southwestward at 25 km/h. Karding is the 11th tropical cyclone to enter the country this year.
